Nazarje’s Detective Saturday
Become a detective for a day and investigate what happened to the monk
An exciting task awaits you in Nazarje – you must find out what happened to the monk mentioned in a mysterious letter. Become detectives and follow the clues, collect evidence, and gradually reveal the truth.
Detective challenges lead you through Nazarje’s most beautiful sights.

the surroundings of the Poor Clares monastery

All entrance fees are included in the experience.
How the experience works and who it’s for
The experience takes place every Saturday in July and August without booking, starting between 9:00 and 10:00 AM (other Saturdays by prior reservation only). The start is at the Vrbovec Museum, where you will receive a detective leaflet. You set off on the journey on your own. At each point, solve a challenge to gradually piece together the whole story. There is no guide – only your curiosity, observation, and the common thread of the Nazarje mystery.
The experience will be most enjoyed by: families with school-aged children, couples, and everyone guided by a curious spirit. The walk between the sights requires basic physical fitness. We recommend wearing light trainers. Due to the specific nature of the premises, the experience is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Put on your real detective gear
To make the Nazarje’s Detective Saturday even more fun and unforgettable, we recommend that you set off on the adventure dressed as real detectives. At the Vrbovec Museum, you can purchase detective gear for an additional €9 and take it home as a souvenir.
